basket shock absorbers broke, leaving basket to be out of ballance
replace shock absorbers. Do not even attempt to change the back two shocks from the front, pull the unit out and take the back off. Besides, it gives you the opportunity to clean the mess that has accumulated under the unit for years.

The door handle broke after 11+ years of use.
Remove two screws, remove the broken handle, replace with the new handle using the two screws. The most time consuming task was finding the proper Torex tip for my screwdriver. The task would be simpler if the screws had Phillips or slotted heads. Torex drivers are not common in most households.

broken selector knob and door handle
Door handle would be easy as pie, but the screws are diamond bit, which makes the installation a little more challenging, I got a friend to install. You just have to have proper tools. Perfect fit
The handle is a perfect fit and easy to install. Came relatively quick.
Fortunately I saved the attachment screws from the original handle because no screws are included with this item.
Four stars because it's just really pricey and shipping is a bit excessive for a 2 oz. item.
BTW you CAN open the washer without the handle, I figured that out after I had ordered it.
