Instructions on putting on pump
For model number WT4870CW
Hi Tina, thank you for contacting us. We have found some relevant instructions for you to install the drain pump. You may follow the following steps:
1. Use a Phillips screwdriver to take the four screws of the back panel out and put the panel aside.
2. Now, to remove the floor support, place a support on the floor and put a towel on it, and then tilt the washer and place it on the support.
3. Squeeze in and remove the wing clamp, slide it down the hose, and then pool it over the hose. It can be rusty, so turn it and pull it at the same time to remove it.
4. Remove the hose clamp on the left side by squeezing it on the motor side out of the way and pulling over the hose from the pump outlet again, turning it side to side, and pulling it off.
5. Take out the two Phillips screws and free the pump. Now support the pump from inside and pull it out.
6. Install the new pump by following the steps in reverse order.
We hope this information helps!
