Product Description

This is an original manufacturer door gasket with a drain hole, for a front-load washer. If you require a door gasket without a drain hole, that is sold separately. Door gaskets are also commonly referred to as a door boot seal or bellow. The door gasket forms a seal between the door and tub, and the drain port allows for water drainage. A few symptoms related to this part include leaking, unusual sounds, poor performance, a burning smell, and a door that will not shut or seal properly. Be sure to keep your washer door gasket clean, and never overload your washer.

My washer is a 2013 kenmore front loader the gasket ripped but the gasket that is said to fit is too big MDS65736902 Need advise

Hole in washer gasket
Unplugged front door locking mechanism and then removed filter housing and soap dispenser housing. Now removed the front door. Now I removed the top panel by removing the screws and sliding the top back about 1 inch and raising it up. Now I removed the 2 spring tension wires holding the rubber gasket in place with a screw driver. Provide leverage at the spring. Then I installed rubber gasket and put spring tension wires back in place. Pretty difficult to install spring tension wires. Make sure they go back in the same position as they were originally.

More than 2 hours
Washer vibrating during spin cycle
Replaced the tub bearings, seal and the 3 shocks. The most difficult part was the removal of the axle. I suggest you spray the axle with WD-40 and leave this at least 1 day. Clean the Tub and outer part with a high pressure spray (if available). Once completed the washer is performing as a brand new washer. The parts were delivered on-t ime and prices were reasonable. I highly recommend this supplier.
