My washer will start but after 1 min or so it will start to click like lid is being opened and shut and then stops altogether. The timer still moves
For model number LSQ8500JQ2
Hello Sarah, Thank you for the question. This could be an indication the Lid Switch is defective and not locking properly allowing the cycle to start. We hope this helps!

motor would not start. strong burnt odor
opened the back panel checked the motor and found nothing. looked around and found capacitor leaked all the oil out. replaced capacitor and tested. all worked as it should.

Capacitor Tab came off
Replaced it very easily. Already had machine broke down so it was a quick fix, then buttoned it up and ran it.
