The drain pump went out on our washer.
The parts arrived very quickly, considering our part of the country was recovering from a blizzard. The part was easy to install and we were washing clothes that evening.

Drain pump was making noise and would not pump the water out.
Drain pump would only hum and not pump the water out. I ordered the part on Friday morning July 31st. The next morning ( Saturday Aug 1st) I started taking things apart to remove the pump and discovered that an underwire from a bra was preventing the pump from turning. After removing the item and cleaning out the coin basket of 62 cents a

nd part of a bra fastener. I reassembled the pump and the washer was working like it should. The new pump arrived about 45 mins later. I will keep the new pump in the event the pump ever fails. Easy fix. Also, an easy way the get the water out of the washer when the pump will not work is with a wet/dry shop vac attached the the drain line from the washer.

Will loose some water when clamp/ tube is disconnected. Large clamp in back of drain hose is diffucult to remove unless you have the correct pliers (which I d

Easy to get off, but difficult to put back on. Reverse proceedure to install. Note: Have large set of pliers to replace large drain hose. Close quarters to work in for large clamp replacement.
