The problem was getting the correct part for the washing machine door latch.
The repair was simple...a screwdriver and assembly. As I mentioned earlier, the wrong part was ordered twice before receiving the correct part. There need to be better pictures available to view, but I did speak to a representative to ensure the correct part....but it was not pleasant to wait and wait for the parts.
