Remove old temperature probe and install new one. Used ceramic nuts to twist wires together. Drop in range. So slide back into place. Very simple procedure. So far, working great.

part was easy to replace but it didn't fix the problem. the temperature was still too high (about 450) tried to re-calibrate without success. Had to buy a new $1500.00 stove!
Used oven twice after repair, worked fine.Third time oven heated to temp, then started flashing again and no.longer works.
Part arrived very quickly and when I looked at it, I hesitated wondering if I could do it and if that was, in fact, the correct part to solve the problem. Did not have to pull the range out and it went real fast & was very easy to install. I researched how to replace this particular part on the internet. Went great and it solved my problem. My husband was surprised it was done when he came home from work. Thank you!
Parts installed easily but oven still did not heat ! Called repair man !!!!
Suspected sensor based on above problem. The biggest problem was not knowing how hard it would be to get the built-in oven from its slot. Once it moved an inch, it was easy. The sensor inside the oven is a little hard to access because of the oven door. I would recommend a magnetic screw driver to make it easy to hold the sensor screws and allow reaching in the oven with one hand.
