This is an authentic replacement part manufactured for use with Troy-Bilt trimmers. The special short block assembly is a complete replacement motor and includes the crankcase, crankshaft, piston, cylinder, flywheel, armature magneto, and spark plug. This short block is available as an individual replacement part, please see model diagram for associative parts.

Screw holes not tapped
Purchased based on price and availability. Recurved and multiple holes were not tapped. Required me to tap the holes for use. This would have been a good thing to know since I’m not a small engine repair guy just a plain old schmuck trying to DYI.
