Product Description

This is an OEM cutting head assembly for a string trimmer. This part is located on the drive shaft and is what houses the cutting line. The cutting head assembly consists of the outer housing, mounting bolt, the spool, the eyelets, the bump knob, the spring, and it is pre-loaded with a 0.095 cutting line. It is most commonly replaced because the bump knob has worn down, the outer housing has cracked, or the eyelets have gone missing. For this repair, remove the bump knob on the bottom of the trimmer head. Depending on your model it is removed by turning it counterclockwise, by pressing tabs in and pulling it straight off, or it is removed by pressing tabs and turning it.
