Product Description

This part includes one air purge primer, also commonly referred to as a primer bulb. This OEM sourced part moves the fuel from the tank to the carburetor to assist in starting the engine. It is most used if your equipment has been sitting unused for a long period of time. Due to its exposure to fuel, it can harden and crack over time, and will stop pumping fuel to the carburetor, making it difficult or impossible to start the engine. For this repair, you will need to remove the screws that hold the housing together, and then remove the old purge primer from the housing. Detach the hoses connected to the old purge primer, and connect them to the new part and secure it back into the housing.
