Product Description

This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement part designed for use with gas powered string trimmers and blowers. The ignition module also known as armature-magneto provides current for the ignition system by producing pulses of high voltage for the spark plugs. It is made out of metal with some plastic components and it is sold individually. Includes a spark plug boot. To complete this repair you would need screwdriver set. Please note replacing this module would differ based on your unit, however the basic steps would be the same. • Remove the housing/covers from the unit • Remove the spark plug • Bind the cylinder • Remove the air filter cover and side cover • Remove the throttle cable from the carburetor • Disconnect the wires • Remove old ignition coil • Install new ignition coil • Install the red wire • Set the gap • Install the black wire • Reassembly and test the unit
