I have this Black & Decker grass trimmer model # LST140 type 1 (40V) and the motor is busted. Just wondering if I can replace with this part> manufacturer number N498080, FIX number 12526009...It says this is for LST140C model...I really don't know the difference..thanks

My unit whines but the spindle/shaft does not turn. I am thinking I need a new motor unit. I opened up the unit and was able to clean it out and put in some WD40 to no avail. I partially pulled out the motor, however can't get the large plastic wheel out of the housing, so I can't take out the motor and get it separated from wheels/gears. Am I missing some tiny screw somewhere or is it just stuck? I don't have a manual and your fly apart diagram doesn't really show that.
