Replace On-Off Acutuator
The switch was completely redesigned (much better design) and required some extra work rather then a straight replacement. The instructions were very clear with easy to follow diagrams. The only tricky part was drilling the 2 new holes to mount the actuator. Although a template was provided, make sure the holes are level or the actuato

Foot switch broke off.
My unit is built-in with a matching cabinet front. I removed the interior box unit and took it outside for a good cleaning. I then removed the sweep and old foot switch. Four screws total. I also removed the original On switch screws that held the broker actuator. Once cleaned and items removed I then removed the base from under the c

ounter and took off the 8 screws holding the front. The original On switch was not the easiest thing to get out since the plastic had hardened with age and the pressure releases didn't want to cooperate. I removed the two connectors from the switch and.. So I basically took and pair of pliers and twisted it until it broke. BTW I did unplug the unit prior to this operation. I installed the new Off-switch then used the template provided to drill two holes for the actuator foot switch. Once done I reconnected the two leads for the switch replaced the 8 screws for the front, (I also cleaned and bleached the interior of the unit. found a few interesting tidbits in there). Slid the interior unit back in and it all works very well.

Original actuator assembly broken
Pulled the appliance out from under the counter and followed the written instructions which came with the part. They were complete and easy to follow. I particularly liked the paper template which made locating and drilling holes to mount the new actuator assembly very easy. There were no surprises and the new actuator design is a big
