Switch knob broke off with part of the switch tube still in place.
Used a Philips screw driver, inserted it into the broken portion of the switch tube, turned it left to clear the ear slots which hold it in place. It then popped out and aligned the new switch and inserted, then turned to on to hold the switch in place. Simple.

The plastic control knob was broken.
After spending time trying to locate the part online and being told it was not available, I called the company. They were finally able to locate the 5 cent plastic part and charge us $30.85 for it. I can’t see how a little part like a knob with .04 cents material could cost $35.00. Would have given it 5 stars but the price was way out of line??
