One of the two handles broke (plastic on bottom). Does new handle just slip on for an easy fix?

For $13, I have a fully functional toaster that fits my wonderful Aldi sourdough slices! No glue needed, fits snugly and does not fall off like the jerry-rigged homemade lever did. Thank you Fix.com for making this lever available & reducing one more item from the landfills!
