Product Description

This is a genuine OEM replacement part sourced directly from Shindaiwa. The agitator works alongside the impeller inside your spreader, its main function is to spin in order to direct the flow of particles out of the spreader. Not only is proper agitation is an important part of the spreading performance, it also allows the contents of the spreader to remain well mixed. The agitator is most effective with fertilizer, seeds, and other softer materials. We recommend the agitator be removed before spreading harder material such as rock salt, this will help prevent damage to the gearbox. The agitator is made out of metal, and is sold individually.
