Product Description

This is a genuine Shindaiwa replacement part. The pinion is a drive gear that loosely attaches to the axle gear of your spreader. The pinion gear and roll pins are an important parts of the gear box, they help drive the impeller, which disperses material from the hopper. If your pinion gear is damaged or broken the impeller will no function properly and the material in your hopper will not spread at the correct rate or width. The pinion gear is made of metal. To do this repair you will need to flip the spreader over so you can access the gearbox.
