Product Description

This is a genuine manufacturer approved replacement brush. It is specially produced for Ryobi routers. Includes one (1) carbon brush with lead wire, spring and a metal holder attached. Please note, most tools use two brushes. It is recommended to replace both brushes at the same time to ensure top performance. Replacing this carbon brush is a simple task that should only require a screwdriver to complete this job. • First make sure the tool is unplugged • Remove the brush caps • Remove the old brush • Secure the new brush • Reassemble and test your tool

Replacement brushes did not fit.
I removed old brushes, and seeing they did not match, I made modifications to the new set.
This was done by rotating the brush set 90*, and beveling the edges to match the previous set. This took a little finesse using a knife and sandpaper to fit the tolerances.
All said and done with the new brushes in place, it ran!
