If the ice maker or water dispenser on your fridge are not working, or there is water leaking, it may be an issue with your water inlet valve. This part is found at the back of your refrigerator and supplies the water to both your ice maker and water dispenser. The materials can be worn out over time with regular use and should be replaced. Another area on the valve to inspect is the solenoids, which can be done with multimeter to check for continuity. This is a genuine OEM part that measures approximately 6.5 inches long by 3 inches wide and is made of plastic and metal. To replace this part, you will need access to the back of your fridge. Please ensure that you disconnect the power and water supply before beginning this repair.

I need only water inlet valve for my Kenmore
For model number 59672383410
Hello Reginald, thank you for your inquiry. There are two water inlet valves in your model. The water inlet valves are part number FIX11738056, and FIX11753251. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week!
My current inlet valve has the extra inlet valve to connect to the incoming water line to direct the inlet water to the filtration unit. It appears to be the same as the unit that was shown on your YouTube video on Whirlpool Refrigerator Repair -How to replace the water inlet valve 9 at 3:42 min. It is not the same as FIX3497634.
Please advise.
For model number KSRS25IKBT01
Hello Leo, thank you for your inquiry. We have researched and found that the water inlet valve you mentioned is the same and fits your model. We hope this information helps!

After immediately closing the water supply valve, I looked over the system and decided to look online and found Part Select. After reading what others have found; then watching the excellent "How To" videos, and using the easy to follow parts diagrams, I had ordered a new ice maker and water inlet valve. Considering how old the fridge wa
... Read mores, how much we use the ice maker and water dispenser, and the price of the parts, I didn't want to play around and bought both parts. Had to make adjustments for variances between the 2 parts. Not particularly difficult just some adjustments. Problem still exists where refill water come into the ice maker, about 6 - 8 drops of water drop into the ice cube box causing icy chunks to form. This is improved over previous condition but needs corrected.
Took the screw that was holding it on to the refrigerator out unplugged the two plug ends, took the water lines out. Hooked the water lines, plugs on the new one, screwed the unit back on to the fridge & presto your done.
VALVE WAS VERY EASY TO INSTALL, BUT IT DIDN'T SOLVE THE PROBLEM, SO I ORDERED THE ICE MAKER ITSELF. TOOK 5 DAYS TO GET THAT, BUT WHEN I GOT IT, IT WAS VERY EASY TO INSTALL. THAT SOLVED THE PROBLEM, AND I NOW HAVE ICE.

I wasn't sure where the kitchen leak came from--there was so much water it ran into adjacent rooms! After mopping it all up I found it had stopped leaking. I really just guessed that it was from the fridge since it started leaking by itself and then stopped by itself. My google research let me here again. (for the same fridge!). I looked
