Ice maker is 6 months old and leaks water into the ice tray. This was a replacement icemaker since the original was doing the exact same thing. Fridge is only 3 years old.

Hello Wayne, thank you for writing. A leaky water line could be because someone didn't secure the ice maker to the water line or the line itself has a crack or break in it. Or, a clogged drain is another common issue that can cause a leak to spring outside of the ice machine. Good luck with your repair.

Icemaker wasn't working. I believe the motor wasn't working
I had to replace the entire icemaker because I couldn't find individual parts. It was fairly easy to replace, but I had trouble because I couldn't figure out how to get the freezer drawer out. I was able to fix it without taking the drawer out, but it was more difficult. It took me abot 30 minutes to replace and it's working perfect, the new icemaker cost only 45.00. Much better than calling a repair person to my home.
