This is a factory-certified center support rail for your refrigerator crisper drawer. This rail supports the center of the crisper frame, holding the drawer securely in place. It is made of white plastic, measures 15-inches long, and if broken, may cause your drawer to not close properly. This is a very quick and easy repair that does not require any tools. Simply slide the crisper drawers out, lift up the glass shelf, and slide the new support rail into place. This part is sold individually.

The center rail that holds the produce drawers has one end snapped off.
Took out the drawers, replaced the rail - just popped it in to place. Put the drawers back in. Done!

The center rail broke when I dropped it on my tile floor during cleaning
I removed the glass shelf, the drawers and the broken plastic rail. Replaced with the new plastic rail, put in the glass and drawers back on the track.

End of center rail broke off
Removed crisper drawers and glass top from frame, removed frame, applied minimal pressure to frame to release center rail, installed new rail using slight pressure to frame . Done.

Broken encap & broken center rail
Replacement is easy---just 3 hex headed self threading threaded screws. I have a 1/4" socket set so that was no problem. But I had to disassemble the shelves to get at the end cap, & if I had it to do over, I'd of drawn some pictures because I didn't recall exactly how to reassemble. But after some trial & error I got it right. Took me about 45 minutes, & I am not mechanically incompetent.
