Roper Evaporator Fan Motor Replacement
I was given a 2002 Roper refrigerator and quickly discovered why. The evaporator fan motor was not functioning, causing the freezer (top) to frost up and the fridge to only cool to around 50 degrees. Ordered the fan motor replacement from this site and installed in probably 15-20 minutes. Super easy. Just take a nut driver to remove the h exhead screws on the bottom tray and back liner (be sure to disconnect the ice maker wire connection as well). Remove them both, swap out the motor and replace everything the way it was. Done.

unplugged freezer, removed freezer back panel 2 screws, removed freezer floor panel 2 push pins (be careful they will break), removed center duct by sliding upwards 3/4", removed fan mounting screws (2) and wires, pulled fan blade off, removed fan mounting bracket from motor, installed new motor in reverse order, note that the fan shaft may be 1/2" longer - still cleared, no need to cut shaft, confirmed fan worked before reinstalling panels
