why did this part not come with the humidity control piece? Am I supposed to take the one off of the damaged crisper drawer? I can't see a way to do that. I need your help or send me a new drawer with that humidity control piece in it.

Thank you for your question. This drawer should have come with the humidity control slide. If it did not come with one, you can remove the humidity control slide off the old drawer and install it on the new drawer. Every time I open the refrigerator, both crisper drawers and meat drawer below the crispers all slide open. Why is this happening and what do I do to stop it?

Hello Diane, thank you for the question. If the refrigerator is not leveled, then the crisper drawer and meat pan come out of the cabinet. You may need to level the refrigerator by adjusting the foot brake, part number FIX11748978. Turn both brake feet clockwise the same amount until the brake feet are snug against the floor. Check again. If not satisfied, continue to adjust the brake feet by half turns of the screw until the refrigerator is level. We hope this helps!

Removed front dispenser panel with screwdriver pryed it off. And discover micro switch had come out of holder control bracket. Order and replace bracket. Easy peasy. Old switch back in place. Panel back on. Done.
Carrier rail on left side of crisper was broken, allowing drawer to droop and hang up.
Opened shipping box to determine that proper replacement drawer was shipped. Opened refrigerator door wide open. Removed contents of broken drawer. Grasped drawer by handle and carefully pulled it in the opposite direction of the refrigerator. Removed packaging from replacement drawer. Placed new drawer on carrier rails and pushed drawer in the direction of the refrigerator. Slid it in and out several times to verify proper seating and operation. Replaced previous contents in drawer. Closed drawer. Set humidity control slide to 1/2 open. Opened cold beer. Received long deserved kiss from wife. Closed refrigerator door.
Took broken drawer out slid in new one. This site made finding a replacement so easy. I would have bought a replacement years ago if I had known about this site. Thank you!!
