This water filter housing holds the filter and connects it to the refrigerator’s water system. It includes push-in fittings for 1/4-inch and 5/16-inch tubing and helps ensure clean water reaches the dispenser and ice maker. Replaced housing. Website made sure all parts numbers matched up! Better prices than local shops with free delivery less than two days.Guess local shops don't really want your business!

ice maker plastic housing leaked where the two water lines were connected.
replaced ice maker housing....easier to disconnect the ice maker electric solonoid at back of refrigirator (just two screws hold the entire bracket) then disconnect the two lines that goe from the solonoid to the ice maker housng than to try to disconnect while the housing is installed.
