Icemaker did not make ice. Ice would not harvest.
The LED codes indicated there was a problem with the receiver transmitter control boards. The directions with the parts indicated the icemaker needed to be removed to install the parts. A YOUTube video showed replacement without removing the icemaker. Remove the cover plates that have the boards that are attached to them. Unplug the boa

rds and unscrew the boards from the cover plates. Attach the boards, plug in the boards, and re-install the cover plates. As I installed the parts it appears the only reason to remove the icemaker was to access one of the three screws on each side. I was able to remove the screws and re-install them with a phillips bit and a pliers. A right angle screwdriver would also have worked. After installing the parts I plugged in the refrigerator and the LED codes were correct and it made ice.

ice maker stopped working
Followed video instructions. Very easy repair. Only problem was figuring out the boards were the problem. The clue came from your other customers. Pays to read all the customer responses for a given problem before ordering parts. Actual repair took no more than half hour.

Ice Maker not making ice.
Tried testing the ice maker using instructions found in the refrigerator grill below the doors at the floor level. First it tests the mechanical operation by shorting pins T & H on the modular unit containing the motor for the ice maker. That test worked well, as the existing ice cubes were warmed and ejected. Then removed the ice make

r from the refrigerator, removed the square module from the ice tray assembly and tested with an ohm meter the motor (4400 to 8800 ohms) and heater coil (72 ohms). Those were OK according to the specifications. Then went on to the circuit boards (emitter & receiver) tests. Couldn't get the red light to flash 2, 3 or 4 times so read additional reviews on the website and found others with a similar result replaced the two circuit boards and fixed the problem. The circuit boards require a phillips screwdriver to remove the plastic covers on the left and right-hand side of the freezer in front of the ice maker. The job took less than 5 minutes. In about 10 minutes ice started dropping into the bin, so problem fixed. Thanks for all the reviews, suggestions and a great website.

Ice maker would not cycle
First I went to your website and watched clip on how to check the boards and then how to replace Emitter and Receiver boards. Also replaced the Flipper which was broken off. I also decided to replace the flipper spring since I had to take off anyway. The whole process was exactly as the video clip. I am 71 years old and felt good that I

Icemaker started working intermittantly, then stopped altogether
Tried replacing the icemaker unit, which didn't solve the problem, then replaced the ice level control board, which did.

Ice maker wouldn't drop ice.
The problem was the sensors on each side of the freezer had to be replaced with the emitter and receiver boards. Removed the covers and took out the boards and replaced them with the new ones. Ice maker works perfect now.

Ice maker stopped making ice
I found the schematics in the botton grate for the ice maker. it contained a set of led flashing codes. Which determined that the emitter and receiver board required replacement. Removed the screws to both assemblies and removed the boards from the assembly. Repeat the sets backwards to reinstall.

Ice Maker not working
Turned off the refrigerator, unplugged the refrigerator then took a No# 2 Phillips screw driver, removed the three screws. Snapped out old cards, snapped in new cards on both sides. Attached the plugs and remounted the covers. Plugged the refrigerator back in, turned on the refrigerator and waited the required amount of time. Ice maker wo

No ice
Control boards were flashing error signals so swapped them out with a screwdriver to remove panels. Ice maker was stuck during ice making cycle and had a small amount of ice still in it. I swapped that out too with the nutdriver. The repair was quick and we now have ice.
