Filter Housing Froze And Leaking
First I had to remove the old filter release button from the broken filter housing because the new filter housing did not come with the filter button release cover. Bad for the price of the new filter housing!!! Then just replaced new filter housing per the reverse of removal.

No, or little, water flow to the front door water dispenser.
Hosing and water dispenser solenoid checked with no problem found. when the water filter is "plugged" into the housing water ceases to flow. When filter is removed water flows to the dispenser with normal pressure; however, there was a smaI removed the two sheet metal screws holding the water filter in place. I shut down the water source to the refrigerator. I removed the input water hose to the water filter housing and the output water hose from the water filter housing going to the solenoid assembly. I slid the water filter housing out and then reversed the process.
