Product Description

If the cap for your water filter has become damaged, this is an authentic OEM replacement part that is black in color. The cap is used to remove the old filter and insert the new one. Be sure to first push the release before attempting to pull the filter out, as the cap can become damaged otherwise. Without a cap, it can be difficult to reach the filter once it is in place.

Cap for the filter was crack
Order a cap for the filter screwed the cap on the filter press the bottom on the side pull the filter out place the cap on the new filter and installed

i accidentally threw away the filter cap to the water filter
it was so easy just line up the grooves with the water filter and the cap there is one on both sides then twist to the right to lock it in place and push the new filter in till it clicks. all done is less than 5 min.

Broken water filter cap/ unable to remove filter
I broke the cap when trying to remove the old filter. Always remember to push the release before attempting to pull filter out.
