Fan was rubbing against fan shroud and running slow. Rubber gromets were worn and allowing fan motor to sag.
Unplugged the refrigerator. Pulled rear access plate off (removed 7 screws). Disconnected fan motor. Fan motor was running slow even if the fan propeller was clear of fan shroud. Removed two screws to remove the fan motor from mounting bracket. With fan motor loose, I removed the fan propeller from motor by pulling it off the shaft. I then slid the motor shaft out from the mounting bracket to remove fan motor. I then vacuumed out the condenser coil area to remove dust. I cleaned the fan propeller. Removed rubber grommets from motor mounting brackets and replaced them with new ones. Slid new fan motor shaft through mounting bracket and maneuvered motor so as to attach the fan propeller. Reattached fan propeller by pushing it back onto the motor shaft. Fitted motor into the mounting bracket and secured to coil housing with the two screws I removed earlier. Make certain that the grounding wire is secured under one of the mounting bracket screws. Plugged the refrigerator back in. Observed that the fan was rotating free and clear of fan shroud. Reattached the rear access plate.

Refrigerator was making a squeaking / squealing noise at certain times
Researched possible cause on YouTube determining it could possibly be the condenser fan motor. Relatively easy to remove and replace after watching YouTube videos. Approximately 30 minute repair time

Loud Noise
I watched the video that this site has online. First shut off the power by pulling off the electrical line. If I hadn't watched the video I would have replaced the fan too instead of just the two grommets. I also probably wouldn't have seen that there are 2 grommets, as one of them is kind of hidden in the back of the fan. Also, getting the clip that secures the fan off and back on is not easy. Needle nose pliers are needed and even with those it is not as easy as the video repair man accomplished it. I found expanding the round clip a little made it possible to get it back on. I also put a little Vaseline on it so it slipped back on. Be careful not to damage the fragile styrofoam when you are removing the plastic shield at the start of the project. Go slow. If you damage it, duct tape may help to repair it. You can do this job. Also don't loose or drop the screws.
