slow down the ice maker ,to much ice
Hello Earl, thank you for writing. I would recommend replacing the whole ice bucket and auger assembly part number FIX11701246. Also, if there is solid ice buildup on the bottom of the ice bucket you should check to be sure the gasket around the door is sealing well. Sometimes warm air can get into the unit and melt the ice enough to freeze at the bottom of the bucket. I hope this helps!

Our ice maker auger was broken
Ordered the part one day and the next day it arrived. All I had to do is take out the old ice bucket and Auger ASM and put the new one in. I'm 65 and my husband was so glad it was in and working when he got home from work.

Auger had broke a piece off
Had to switch out front panel because it was different. Two screws and two snaps to change it. Should have been the right part but the front of mine was still ok.

Lift up and pull out old ice bucket and check the position of the auger. Rotate the auger in the new bucket to match. Slide the new bucket in place. I washed the new bucket and saved some of the ice before I started.

Broken Ice Maker (auger)
Ordered a full Ice bucket replacement with auger and lid. AWESOME! Pulled the old one out and put the new one in. Instant fix. Sure beat trying to replace the auger like we did a few years ago. Reasonable price also.

Ice would not come through door dispenser
This was SO easy. We ordered the whole assembly which meant, it arrived (in great time). I took it out of the box, washed it out and let it dry. Then took the broken Ice Bucket out of the freezer, poured the ice into the new Ice Bucket and put her in. Worked like a charm. Very happy!!
