The upper crisper drawer cover is the frame that supports the crisper drawer and holds the glass shelf. Excess weight and regular wear can cause damage to the frame, and if broken it should be replaced. The drawer glides for the crisper are molded on to the frame, but the crisper drawer and glass are not included with this part. If you require replacement glass or crisper drawers, they can be purchased separately. Replacing this genuine OEM part is simple; remove the old frame from your refrigerator and lift the glass out. Snap the new frame cover back into place in the fridge, then line up and insert the glass shelf.

Crisper support broke causing the crisper to chip on back left corner and the plastic cover broke.
Took hammer and punch pushed the cover pin through, using a putty knife and tape to protect the paint pried the cover support out. pushed the new support in and tapped the pin flush with outside edge of support placed cover back on supports replacing glass. had to order pan-crisper. Every thing came in securely packed and was shipped very quickly. Thank you for the video information on how to remove the broken support.

We broke Mom's refrigerator :(
Momma always told us "put it in Tupperware." But like most kids... (even adult kids) we didn't listen. Well we packed moms refrigerator with Pots and A roast being lazy and then the Crisper drawer cover broke and crashed down on the other and broke that one too. EKKK!! True story. Broken parts -- our fault for one -- age/heavy load for the other
Most of the time was spent unloading those sections of the refrigerator that were affected. The rest was very simple -- putting the drawer cover in the proper place, putting the glass on the cover -- we had the upper pan and it was not broken -- neither was the glass; and then putting the lower crisper plan in place. After that we reloa ded the refrigerator and everything is fine now.
