How do you take out the filter

For model number Ffhs2611pfea

Hello Inga, thank you for writing. Install the new filter by sliding it into the housing and pushing it into place until it locks. You will then need to re-set the indicator button by pressing it down for at least 10 seconds. This filter is sold individually. Good luck with your repair.

As the ice maker is making ice cubes and preparing to kick cubes into bin it will begin to make a knocking sound intermittently. Would a dirty filter cause this?

Also, check the auger motor, part number FIX10057235, and the ice dispenser drum, part number FIX1526412, to make sure they are not the source of the knocking noise. Do you carry water filters for this model? We formerly received yearly filters for our refrigerator. Have moved to another state and would like to resume these deliveries. Formerly received FIX3412266. Unsure if this will fit the Frigidaire refrigerator in our new home.
