Product Description

If opening and closing your refrigerator is difficult, it could be due to a damaged or warped crisper cover front support. This part keeps the crisper shelf in place and mounts to the inside cabinet wall. Sold individually, this part is white in color, measures approximately 1 inch in diameter, and can be used for the front and rear support. The installation of this part is considered easy and should only take a few minutes. You will need a small flat blade screwdriver, putty knife, and soft hammer. Take the crisper and shelf out of the refrigerator first. To remove the old part, start by pushing the locking pin into the interior of the cabinet using the screwdriver, pull the support out with the putty knife. If taking out the pin is difficult, use a flat blade screwdriver to push it down and out of sight, this will not harm your refrigerator. Remove the pin and attach the new support, using a soft hammer to lock the new pin in place.

Ice build up in the evaporator.
Im from Mexico, I had to buy all the parts in US, I made an overhaul to my refrigerator, also I replace the main control board wich has the defrost timer integrated in this mother board, tooks me more de 2 session of 2 hours each one to complete the whole reparation. The most difficult part was remove and install the defrost heater elemen t, because you most handle with the evaporator, need patience and time, also was difficult for me to replace the main control box because the access to it in the bottom of the fridge, too norrow the space and too short the harness cables that connect to it. gasket, defrost control, crisper support and bulb, very easy. excellent service from this site. After almost 3 weeks the service guy I called at the begining is still looking for the parts, Im glad I did my self.

The cover supports were broken on the bottom crisper drawer.
1. Removed all food items from crisper drawer 2. Carefully removed the drawer and glass. 3. Used a paint scraper to get under the old support; lightly tapped the end with a hammer to pop out the broken support. 4. Removed the white pin or pushed it in with a screwdriver if too far in. 5 Positioned the new support pin as guided with 3 ho les. 6. Used the soft hammer to pound the upper pin into the side of the fridge. 7. Cleaned all surfaces with vinegar/water. 8. Continued to replace all four supports. 9. Gently replaced the glass/drawer (after a thorough cleaning!). 10. Smiled!

Broken support on right side of hydrator.
Watched the video which was very helpful. The part arrived the day after ordering. GREAT service. What took the most time was fishing out the part from inside the refrigerator wall. Pliers were too big, tweezers did the job.

support for crisper/glass/drawer broke off
Took crisper drawer out. Then pulled glass/drawer slides straight up and removed.Pried remainder of support with screwdriver(thin blade) out from the side wall of refridgerator. In my case, the center "moly type"fastener also snapped off, but,I was able to retrieve it by pulling the pieces out with needle nose pliers.Pushed new support in,sna pped in glass/drawer slides in,and pushed in drawer.Voila! Have noticed the same thing happening in the freezer, but, have lucked out so far.Poor design as a lot of weight usually is upon the flat surfaces on all shelves.

front crisper cover supports broke and would not support the cover
Put duct tape around the broken supports to protect the side of the fridge. Used the hammer and the pin punch to drive the locking pin of the support into the side of the fridge. Took the putty knife and pried the broken support out. Used the pin punch to move the old locking pin out of the way. Put the new support into the holes. Used the hammer to drive the new locking pin into fridge. Drove it flush with the new support. Works great.
