How do I take out the old sensor and put in the new Thank you very much
For model number fghc2331pfca
Hello Tony, thank you for contacting us. The temperature sensor is located inside a cover on the rear wall of the fresh food compartment. To replace it, unplug the power switch, and remove the top shelf of the fresh food compartment. Unscrew the cover box with a screwdriver. Press and pull the old sensor out. Plug in the new one, and place the cover back on it. Tighten up the screw. We hope this information helps!

Where is the part number 240597203 located on this model side by side refrigerator? I'm having trouble locating it.
For model number FFHS2622MBH
Hi Lisa, thank you for your question. This temperature sensor, part number FIX1765215, is usually located down at the bottom of your appliance near the evaporator. If you do not see it there, then take a look at the side walls of your freezer section for a little cover that would be over the sensor. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

Where is the defrost thermostat located? And how many thermistor are there? Would a bad one cause the heating element not to engage?
For model number Lghb2867pfe
Hi Keaton,
Thank you for your question. The defrost thermostat is attached to the evaporator coils and heating element. We are showing one thermistor listed for your refrigerator in the area where the coils are located. If the thermistor is not working it may prevent the defrost heater from working. You should also check the defrost thermostat and the main control board. If you have any questions, please let us know. We are open 7 days a week. We look forward to hearing from you!
