Old drip pans has rusted out. Simply replaced them.

Removed the surface element and replaced with the new one. If it had continued to overheat as the old one did, I would have had to call an electrician to repair. But so far, it seems to be working fine.

Need new drip pans

Removed old drip pans and installed new ones. Pulled out electric burners took out old pans and put in new ones then put back burners.

Drip pans had become corroded and needed to be replaced

simple process. unplug the electric heating elements, take out the the old drip pans, put in the new drip pans and re-insert the electric heating elements.
