Thermostat fried during self-cleaning cycle
After I googled this problem with KitchenAid range models, I saw your helpful comments/posts from others who had the same problem. or buying a new one, your reviews saved the day and made the boss HAPPY. After removing the back off the stove, the part is right there in plain view to switch out. Once replaced, I plugged it in, and the lights came on, and door opened. FYI: My neighbor, who had the same model, same thing happened, but he went out and bought an $1800 stove. Poor guy missed your comment section.

Oven door locked shut and display screen blank after self-clean
Once the oven was pulled out there are a two metal panels on the back that needed to be removed using a Phillips screw driver. Once the panels were removed the thermostat was easy to see and simple to swap out. Put the panels back on in the order they were taken off, plugged the oven back in an it worked perfectly
