Product Description

This part is an authentic OEM replacement grease filter for your range or cooktop. The grease filter is used to trap particles that result from cooking such as grease, smoke, and dust. The filter is very easy to replace but tends to be neglected. When buildup occurs on the filter, it can result in odors or pose a fire hazard. It can also result in your fan working harder and becoming noisy. When replacing the filter, be sure to clean the entire area for any buildup or grease that may have passed through. The filter measures approximately 15.5 inches by 6.5 inches, which may be half an inch smaller than your original part. This filter will still fit and work as intended despite the size difference.

Door seal was flat and hard. No longer sealed.

I just started taking out the screws along the side and disassembled the door - making sure to set things down as I took it apart and keeping all like parts together. Filter was deteriorating due to age and washing

Remove the filter grate and removed old filter. Clean out filter area with a degreaser. Installed new filter and replace filter grate.

replaced oven element.

Repair was really quick. I c a n not believe how quick the order came. Ordered it one morning got the part almost 24 hours later. Expected to be without oven for at least a week. It wasn't even 2 days from the time we discovered it broken.
