What is the the distance from the mounting flange to the top?

Hello I am looking to replace sheet metal damper for Broan-NuTone BCSQ130SS Three-Speed Glacier Under-Cabinet Range Hood with LED Lights ADA Capable, 1.5 Sones, 375 Max Blower CFM, 30", Stainless Steel with one that takes away the continuing flapping noise. Will this do that and is it compatible? Thank you.
