This is a genuine hinge pin retainer for a nailer, sold individually. The hinge pin retainer secures the hinge pins, which permit other parts of the nail gun to pivot. The retainer is made out of urethane material, which can break. If this part is damaged, the hinge pin can then easily come loose and get lost. To remove this part, use a small punch to tap the hinge pin out of the retainer and mount.
