Hot cheese melted the plastic stirrer cover and the charcoal filter needed to be replaced

The plastic stirrer cover was easy. 1) Use a putty knife to pop out the plastic pin. 2) slide cover to the left 3) slide in new cover, 4) replace plastic pin. The charcoal filter is supposed to be replaced yearly. We did it after 2 years. 1) Use screwdriver to remove two screws on top front of microwave. 2) Use putty knife to slide into grill to help you pop the cover out (not easy!) 3) Filter falls out 4) Put new filter in, 5) put cover back on (not easy - filter keeps falling out 6) trick was to make sure the bottom center tap on the cover goes under the bottom of the filter 7) put screws back in. For something your supposed to do every year this was a pain in the bottom.
