Replaced broken handle and surface light
I found a YouTube video online for the door removal that was helpful. Once off, it was easy to replace the handle.

Broken handle
I read instructions from others who replaced their broken handles and watched two instructional YouTube videos before getting started. When I removed the screws on the side of the door, the inside seal wouldn't budge. Even with serious prying with a screwdriver as demonstrated in the videos, the door was not coming apart. The microwave wouldn't work when I replaced the door screws. New one arriving this Friday..

Broken handle
The repair itself was not that difficult. HOWEVER!... when I attempted to separate the inner window assembly from the hinged door (which required some coaxing), the whole thing came crashing down on to the range. Although the glass didn't break (thankfully) most of the plastic clips that hold the glass in place snapped. This required some creative positioning of the glass, and my fingers, to keep the thing in position until I could get it back into place and fasten it again. I would strongly suggest that you have a second set of hands to hold on to the glass assembly when detaching it from the door. You'll be much happier!

Tools:
Door handle fit but manufacturer has changed method of attaching.
Unable to do repair because of manufacturers changes to way handle is attached to microwave door. Only alternative is to install the entire door which makes it better to just replace the unit. Microwave is 10 years old.
