How do you install the newer version of this clip, with the metal piece?
For model number KEMS309BSS00
Hi Chad, thank you for the question. There is a retaining bracket that comes with the support that pushes onto the neck of the support. This bracket is what would sit on the other side of the wall where the support goes. While it can be possible to install the bracket from inside the cavity by rotating it in place, the most reliable method would be to remove the top panel so that the cavity can be accessed from both sides for installation.
