Pin Cotter 7/16 Bow Tie Lock

This is an OEM bowtie cotter pin for lawn tractors. It is sold individually. This part is made of metal material, so over time, this metal can corrode or rust, especially if the lawn tractor is exposed to elements on a regular basis. It should be checked regularly and replaced every so often. Before you begin this repair, the ignition switch needs to be turned off, the key removed, the mower deck should be in the lowest position, and the clutch actuator lever needs to be off. When installing the new pin, make sure the washer is in place before sliding the pin into position. This repair should only take a few minutes.
