Primer-Carburetor (7/8"Dia. Fits BS Quantum Engines 5, 5.5 &6 HP
Fix Number FIX9067198
Manufacturer Part Number 694395
This is an OEM primer bulb and clip. It is attached to the engine air filter base. When the primer bulb is pushed, this fills the carburetor with fuel, making it easier to start a cold engine. This rubber primer bulb is known to harden and crack over time. For this repair you will start by removing the motor cover, air filter cover, air filter, and then the primer base. You will then use a screwdriver to release the clip holding the primer bulb in place. To install the new primer bulb, place the new clip so the ears are facing out, and then line the ears up with the openings on the base. You will then use your screwdriver to help snap it into place.

Carburetor
Fix Number FIX9152797
Manufacturer Part Number 799868
This is an Authentic OEM replacement part used on Lawn and Garden Engines. The purpose of this part is to mix air and gas before the fuel mix goes to the engine.
If the engine won\'t start and the tank is full of fresh fuel, test the carburetor by removing the air filter and pouring about a teaspoon of fuel into the carburetor. Pull the starter rope. If the engine starts and then quickly dies, the carburetor is likely the problem.
This Assembly includes a Metal Body Carburetor, Rubber O-Ring and a Gasket. When replacing Carburetor it is advised that you also replace Carburetor Gaskets to ensure proper Air Tight Seal for optimum performance. You will need a Screwdriver to perform this repair.
