Anti-Slintering Device damaged during the use of the Jig Saw
making tight angled cuts, the injected plastic Anti-Splintering Device part can and is subjected to being cut into by the actual blade being used. It is a simple matter to replace this part and takes no tools to do so. This part happens to work extremely well to make very smooth cuts but in normal use can get slightly damaged. I am one of those kind of power tool users who feels that all the parts should be kept in good working order. So, I replace as needed and keep a number of parts on hand.
