We have replaced this thermal 2 times and within a week or 2 it does not work.
For model number 9093N
Hello Dana, thank you for your question. We recommend you check that the fuse has been replaced correctly. Here are the instructions to replace the thermal fuse, part number FIX10432437. Loosen two screws and remove the round cover. Disconnect the electrical plug in the fixture. Loosen two screws and remove the fixture from the housing. The thermal protector is right on top of the heater coil housing. Remove the two flat wire connectors from the unit, remove two small Phillips screws, and remove the defective thermal protector. Reverse the procedure and reassemble. Make sure all switches are shut off before disconnecting the plug in the unit to prevent an arc when disconnecting. We hope this information helps!

I purchased this thermal protector and installed it. My fan or heater doesn’t work. If I temporarily bypass the thermal protector and energize the unit, both fan and heater work. Is it possible that I received a bad thermal protector? Thanks
