This is a genuine OEM replacement part. Pressure regulators are commonly used to regulate the fuel pressure in your heater. They balance the heaters need for fuel with the amount of fuel being supplied to the heater. Essentially the pressure regulator is a valve that works to limit the risk of a gas pressure build-up inside the heater, it will cut off the flow of fuel into the heater when the pressure reaches a certain level. Due to exposure to fuel this part will wear down over time and need to be replaced, replacing it will ensure your heater will continue to run as efficiently and effectively as possible. This replacement part is sold individually.
