This is an authentic OEM sourced replacement part which is designed for use with Heatstar and Mr. Heater kerosene forced air heaters. The filter helps to ensure the air that goes exits the unit is free of dust and other harmful contaminants. Over time it may wear out and get clogged eventually requiring a replacement. Inspect it periodically and replace when needed to maintain peak performance. Keep in mind this high-quality outlet filter is sold individually.
