M6 Chuck Retaining Screw

This is a manufacturer-approved chuck screw, sold individually. This part is found in hammer drills and is used to secure the chuck to the drill. It is designed with reverse threads to prevent it from unthreading while drilling the screw. After extensive use of the drill, the screw can begin to vibrate out of the head, it can break off, or the head can be stripped out during the process of removing screws. Use your Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw, and then simply line up your new screw into the chuck and tighten it up, very quick and easy repair.
