What length is the hose/regulator? Is the end a 3/8in flare?

The old regulator went bad (it was low when adding a new tank, then started leaking!)
The only trick is I had to take the front panel off the face above the door (just 2 screws to loosen one side) in order to access the nut for the regulator. After figuring that out it was simply loosening the old one, putting on the new one and tightening!

Our 90 lb 8 month old Rottweiler puppy liked the taste of the drippings left on both of the control knobs and the electronic ignition and she ate them.
Step 1: Wait two weeks for the package to arrive, ONLY to discover it was MISdelivered by FedEx. It arrived, but NOT at OUR house!!! SOMEBODY got this package, but we have NO IDEA who received it.
Step 2: Call the Customer Service number and get put on hold by the computer for 20 minutes listening to repetitive music!!!!
Step 3: Finally get through to a live person, who was VERY HELPFUL.
Step 4: Begin the process of refunding the money for the missing order.
Step 5: Have to place a whole new order.
Step 6: Wait for the new order to arrive.
Step 7: Still waiting.

Right Item and easy Replacement
Had to search several sites for the hose and regulator and it became clear that there were several generic items that might work, but needed to be sure that the connector size was correct. This item fit the grill perfectly, hose length, position of regulator and connector. Less that 10 minutes to unfasten and replace. Grill working again!
