This is a genuine OEM part that has been sourced directly from Husqvarna. Spark plugs are take energy from the battery to create an electric spark, that spark is used to ignite the air fuel mixture in your small engine. You should be inspecting your spark plug every time you are doing repairs or routine maintenance. If your spark plug is dirty it will no longer be as efficient. You might find you have trouble starting your generator, or you might find the generator is running rough. Before you install your new spark plug ensure that you are properly gapping your new spark plug, check your owner?s manual for the gapping requirements. To install this part you will need a spark plug socket, or a socket wrench.
